In 30 minutes a day for 30 days, you will gain strength, fluidity and confidence through simple drills that progress organically to more complex concepts. Each day that you practice you will build upon that foundation to help you improve your physical skills and ignite your creativity.

Our bodies are always in flux making it essential to move and dance everyday, especially as we age. Practicing the fundamentals of dance movement is key to maintaining and gaining muscle tone and improving your confidence. Some dancers stop practicing the fundamentals after a year or two, thinking they no longer need to, or feel it's boring. Maybe you haven't had the opportunity to explore those fundamentals deeply. This is a guided program offering space, focus and structure for you to explore variations and dynamics that often lead to breakthroughs. I know this from personal experience as well as seeing it in my students.
30 Minutes a Day for 30 Days!
This course derives concepts from Middle Eastern dance vocabulary with a focus on best practices for safe movement. The program can help you improve muscle tone and strength for preventing and recovering from injury, while improving your overall body awareness of dance technique. Regardless of your dance background or style, this format will challenge you to practice movements in different ways, while guiding you to explore a wide range of concepts.
Starting with a short warm-up and concluding with a short stretch, each 30-minute practice session includes:
- Guided instruction, tips and reminders, just like a real class
- Muscle engagement and technique exercises
- Focused and detailed drills that are building blocks of advanced concepts
- Creative exploration of variations and dynamics of the basics that will help you dig deeper and emerge stronger and more confident as a dancer!
This course is not suitable for beginners unless enrolled in and regularly attending a live weekly class with a qualified teacher.
Over 15 Hours of Instruction! Here’s how it works:
When you enroll in the course you will have access to all 30 practice session videos. Each practice session includes detailed fundamental muscle engagement, then progresses to the heart of the day’s topic.
Each day builds on the previous sessions to advance you toward mastery and prepare you for complex concepts and choreography that you may want to pursue. When you have completed the 30 days, repeat the program from day one or mix and match sessions to keep your foundation strong toward advanced progress for months and even years to come!
