Welcome beautiful dancer! You are about to embark on a wonderful musical journey that will open a whole new world of enjoyment, education and enrichment in your dance endeavors!

In this course, you will learn how to create Egyptian-Arab style dance with your own flair in my signature format. In addition to a wonderful life-enhancing journey, dancing to traditional and modern Arabic music may bring new and exciting opportunities to share your love of dance with others, whether in personal endeavors or in a professional capacity.

One of the key goals of this course is to help you gain confidence in identifying and interpreting classic songs, and learn how to distinguish classic instrumentals which have lyrics that you can emote, from introductory pieces, or preludes, which do not have lyrics. From their original forms to their modern instrumental versions, we will explore popular songs that are a staple of the Arab orchestra and the Oriental dance show. In addition, you will become familiar with the common vocabulary and unique characteristics of Arabic music to expand your knowledge and appreciation of Arabic music beyond this course.
